ShazzleMail Connect Help
Welcome to ShazzleMail. The following will provide you with the settings needed to complete the configuration for using ShazzleMail on your Mac.
Before you try to configure your ShazzleMail account in Mail you must first install and configure ShazzleMail Connect.
Step 1.Add a Mail Account:
Choose “Add Other Mail Account”. Enter your name, your ShazzleMail email account address (email@example.com) and your ShazzleMail account password. Click “Create”. If Mail cannot configure your account automatically, go to step 2.
Step 2.Incoming Mail Server Information:
Choose “POP” for the Account Type. Enter “localhost” for the Mail Server and click “Next”. Your username and password will already be entered if you did step 1 correctly. When you click next it will need additional account info so click “Next” again
Step3.Incoming Server Information:
Enter the Incoming Server (POP3 in ShazzleMail Connect) Port. For example 31110. You can find your PORT Number in your ShazzleMail Connect.
Also, make sure the “Authentication” for both your Incoming and Outgoing Servers is “Password”.
Step 4.Outgoing Mail Server Information:
Enter “localhost” for the SMTP server (which is the outgoing server), your ShazzleMail email account address (firstname.lastname@example.org) and your ShazzleMail account password. After that click “Create”, the Mail client will try to create your account, but it won’t be able to because you still need to enter the port number for the outgoing server, so after you click “Create” click “Next”.
Step 5.Outgoing Mail Server Information:
Enter the SMTP port number, which is found in your ShazzleMail Connect and make sure the authentication is “Password”. Click “Create” and you are all set!
*Remember that you can find your PORT Number in ShazzleMail Connect.
